The Easiest Crock Pot Apple Crisp

Yum.. this was so easy and ended up being perfect for the girls school lunches!

I love how you can simply throw everything into the crock-pot and have a yummy dessert in just a couple hours or less.

I hope you enjoy and let me know if you give it a try.

Crock Pot Apple Crisp

6 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled cored and sliced
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup palm or brown sugar (divided), brown sugar should be packed
1 cup quick oats
1 stick of butter, melted

Combine apples, cinnamon and 1/4 cup of  palm or brown sugar in crock-pot and stir to distribute.
Sprinkle quick oats over apples
Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar over oats
Evenly pour melted butter over entire mixiture
Cover and cook on high for 1-1.5 hours or low for 2-3 hours.
Serves 4-6


  1. How significantly would the outcome be affected by using old fashioned rather than quick cooking oats?

    1. Actually, that is what I used the 1st time I made it. It works, but the oats don't "cook up" as well. Still tasted good.. :)

      I found that when the leftovers sat in the fridge over night the oats had absorbed more liquid and tasted more "cooked".
