Easily Clean Those Dirty School Lunchboxes and Backpacks

You know your kids  Lunchboxes and Backpacks are looking pretty sorry by now.  Sure you can wipe them down, but kids are rough on these things.

I was looking at the girls Lunchboxes and wondered what I could do to make them look better.  So I decided to throw them in the washing machine.

They turned out great!  Not all the stains came out, but if I did this at least once a month it may not get so many stains to begin with.

Steps to Wash Dirty School Lunchboxes and Backpacks (cloth only, not metal lunchboxes or hard plastic):

1. Clean out CLOTH lunchbox or backpack
2. Unzip everything
3. Treat any stains with your favorite stain treatment
4. Place into a large pillowcase
5. Wash with laundry detergent on Warm/Cold
6. When done either allow to air dry or leave in pillow case and dry in the dryer on NO HEAT for about 2 hours.

Note: I can't guarantee that yours will hold up as well as ours did, but I had no problems with either the lunchboxes or backpacks.

Let me know if it works for you!
