I actually love making my own household cleaners.   They are not only super easy to make it also means I have to run to the store less often when I am out.

Another perk of making your own is that you never have to feel guilty about having your kids clean their own bathroom.  These are safe with no toxins.  Who-hoo, a Lazy Girl's dream, someone else doing the housework!
  • Kitchen Counter Scrubber: Combine kosher salt and a little water then scrub with a wet cloth or sponge.
  • Window Cleaner: 3T vinegar, and 2 cups of water into a spray bottle. Clean your windows or mirrors.
  • Glass Shower Cleaner: Try cutting a lemon in half and dip it in kosher salt.Use to scrub away the soap scum.
  • Toilet Bowl Cleaner: Use 2 cups of vinegar and let it sit in the toilet overnight. Scrub it out in the morning.
  • All Purpose Cleaner: Mix 2T vinegar, 3T of castille soap,  and 2 cups of hot water together in a spray bottle. I use this on everything!
  • Floor Cleaner: Combine 1 cup white vinegar with 1 gallon of warm water and mop away.
  • Furniture Polish: Mix 1/2 cup olive oil with 1/4 cup lemon juice. Spray on with a spray bottle or put on a cloth.  Wipe on surface and then dry with another cloth.
